Captured becomes costly

<p>I'm a pensioner. I've been a member of Discovery Health for many many years. I'm on Coastal Saver which includes 6 free GP visits once your MSA runs out. Last year I made use of this benefit through a Discovery Health Approved Doctor in my area who was on the weblist of DISCOVERY HEALTH NETWORK DOCTORS and it was covered by DH. I did the same this year only to discover (excuse the pun) that he no longer qualifies - he is still a DISCOVERY HEALTH NETWORK DOCTOR but he has to be a PREMIUM PLUS DISCOVERY APPROVED DOCTOR - and he isnt. To add injury to insult there is no weblist available on the Discovery Health website giving you the list of PREMIUM PLUS DISCOVERY APPROVED DOCTORS in your area. You have to phone Discovery Health to get a doctors name. It's now costing me R406.00 when it should have been free. If I had gone to my own Doctor it would have cost me less AND now I also can't go back with my very important blood tests to my "NON" PREMIUM PLUS DISCOVERY APPROVED DOCTOR. Does anyone know if Discovery Health has been captured along with the state? Its absolutely crazy, unprofessional and uncaring. I really don't know what to say.</p>
