Cant go to hospital yet on a hospital plan

<p>So to begin with I do not want to take my daughter to hospital just as much as Discovery doesnt want to pay for it, so we probably have one thing in common.....</p> <p>My daughter is 9 months old and is needing a Nuclear scan on her kidney, this in the long run could safe Discovery thousands as the peads will know what they are dealing with well before the time anything drastically goes wrong. My little girl has a mass removed from her Kidney when she was just 4 weeks old and now they need to know the damage that the mass caused for future problems. She needs to be admitted to hospital for the day due to the fact that she needs a drip put up and needs to be monitored. Do you think I can get authorisation???? No sorry Mrs Wells you will not get auth because your daughter is not been sedated by an anethatist. This is absolute *******. My pead has explained that this procedure cannot be done without been admitted and according to me Hospital plan is hospital plan. Are you telling me that if i get something like Meanengitis and need to be addmited you will not pay because i am not going to be anethatised. This sounds like a ******* story and an excuse to not pay for the hospital bills. Come on Discovery treating people like they are stupid is not fair and making me fight a battle when i am already worried for my poor child is not fair either.</p>
