Cannot think futher than their predefined scripts

My question - two debit orders went off the employer's bank account in March and a payment was made in March for the RD debit order for February. Therefore 3 amounts were paid - one for Feb, one for March and then one extra. Will the April debit order not go off as advance payment has been received? After spending 30 mins and having the phone put down on me by a supervisor, calling back and explaining all over again and then the building fire alarm goes off - told to call back again. How can they not give me a simple answer???? i hope these people get written warnings!!
