Cancer Treatment approval

I have been diagnosed with cancer and discovery is taking so long to approve my cancer treatment. I have been waiting for two weeks now and everytime I call they tell me that the case manager is looking at my application. Yesterday I was attended to by a lady called Denise and she assured me that the case manager is going to give me response before the end of the day. I did not get any response and this morning I called again and was told that their turn around time is 5 to 7 working days. I am sitting at home with a life threatening sickness and I am in so much pain. Every time I make a call I am told that I am on a waiting period. How can you be on a waiting period for something that you have just been diagnosed with recently
