Cancellation of Medical Aid

I moved from my employer medical aid to my private capacity when i changed jobs. I called ahead of time and made arrangements for my medical aid to be to transferred. I was assured that all is in order. Today I get online to order my chronic medication and I am told that my medical aid had been suspended. I did NOT get any reason as to why this has happened as the call centre agent pointed out the day I called to arrange change to private. Now i am unable to get my medication until a debit order goes through or I arrange payment. I also need to sign a declaration form which prohibits me from claiming for 8 weeks. <br> <br> I am on asthma medication and am suffering in the meantime. Unacceptable due to your incompetence.
