CALL CENTRE TOTAL FAILURE
Called Discovery Health today to query an outstanding claim. The call centre lady told me that she can see the claim has been received, and then told be to hold on. Well that I did...... She kept me holding on in total silence, for OVER 25 MINUTES, until my phone battery died!!! How can they just keep us holding on for so long without a single word???? @ Discovery Health, How do you suggest we resolve queries, because clearly your call centre is not working.

02 Dec 2019, 09:08Their response is limp. But, we'll see this week what actually gets done and if my problem gets resolved.
So, it turns out that the real reason for their lack of response goes back more than 2 years when Discovery processed and paid a claim, then a few months later, they just changed their minds and decided to "un-pay" this claim and said that I owe them instead. But every time I called and queried this and asked for a detailed statement, the amount that they said I owe them changed. And to date no one has been able to explain it and give me a detailed statement of all the differing amounts they say I owe them.
This saga has been going on since November 2017!!! It is now over 2 years later, and they are still making me pay. Is this action even allowed, is it ethical?? I would appreciate some advice on this from anyone.
Discovery Health, I have been a member for over 20 Years, and I never failed to pay your fees on time. Is this the way your members should be treated?
And another thing, my broker... I've never even spoken to her, and she does not return phone calls. Why do we have to pay for brokers who we don't even know?
