Busy Dying On A Christmas Day Because Of Them Declining My Admission For No Reason.

Let me tell you what happened to me, i'm with Discovery Health for about five if not six years now and all i do now is cry for medical bills and stuff that they did not pay and (mind you it's within the hospital network given to me). So on Christmas Day 25/12/2019 i felt very sick with Heart my feeling that it could stop at any time so i called the ambulance and explained to them what my problem was and upon arrival at my house they took my BP and several other things and instructed me to get to the Hospital as soon as possible. Upon my arrival at the Hospital's casualty ward (Garden City) which by then was in my hospital network, i managed to get checked and monitored by one of the Doctor's and few other nurses. Cool fair enough. Now it's my time to get admitted the ambulance report was there even the Doctor said he will admit me but for some stupid strange reason they declined my admission telling me that i needed to be seen or referred to hospital by a GP before they could admit me which never happened before (Remember it's on Christmas Day) where on earth will i get a Doctor at 17:00 on a Christmas Day? i'm depressed where i am today because of them not paying my medical bills in the Hospital that falls under my list of hospitals, and there i was discharged because my medical aid declined my admission and remember for no reason and there i am paying R355 for nothing because i was admission declined, i came in with the ambulance which is? "an emergency"!!!!. Climb in my fathers car and left while still feeling like i was when i arrived at the hospital. so days went by with me traumatized and not feeling okay, i called them to find out why they were declining my admission no one could explain to me why. I was in that same hospital about a year ago without me having to be checked by a GP first. When i get admitted at a hospital that falls under my plan, i need to pay for certain bills that they do not cover, i mean why do you give me a certain hospital to go to and i still need to pay? That's apart from the co-payments which is about R355 per admission.

So ya think again before joining this **** medical aid.

This month it went up from R2300 up to R3700 for me and my two children, i don't know why.
