Bullies

I was an employee for Discovery Health and obviously had to take out their medical aid. I resigned and got an accident a few days later, I was taken to hospital by an ambulance. Discovery then said I owe them R6000 cause according to them, employees get billed upfront so my cover ended before the accident.

I then made arrangements with them to pay the minimum they require a month but as time went I wasn’t able to cause I was in employed. I only made one payment. I then called again several times for arrangements but according to them, those were not arrangements. I advised I can only pay R200 a month as I am unemployed. They refused and asked for an affidavit. Before I could send it, they listed me on the credit Bureau despite my communication with them, they then referred my account to some attorneys.

I made the same arrangement with the attorneys for R200, same arrangement I could have made with Discovery but they refused. Just cause they can list someone. I will never take Discovery medical aid again should I get employment and will never advise anyone to cause they are such bullies.
