Breast Reduction Claim

This complaint is on behalf of my sister.<br> <br> My sister has been to more than four doctors, with one going as far as giving motivation why she needs to reduce her breast before they damage her spinal cord. My sister has 3kids and due to some medical situation, she could not breast feed. Her breast got abnormally big and are giving her serious back problems and a very low self esteem. <br> <br> Her Doctor sent her to specialist who agreed that her breast need to be reduced before she gets crippled. With beast weighing more than 15kg, Discovery medical health has rejected the claim and the procedure could not be done. She recently got a family friend to refer her all the way to Durban to see a government Doctor, who was also shocked that Discovery claims this is a cosmetic surgery, not a medical situation. <br> <br> It does not make sense how can such a critical and urgent surgery be classified as such. Her colleague who had way smaller breasts than her but is on Bankmed managed to get the surgery done, it doesn't make sense why will Discovery reject such a necessary surgery, her livelihood depends on it. I hope this can be sorted out as soon as possible...
