Bloods
To whom it may concern or whatever imbecile heads this.
I have bloods that were drawn 2 July 2025, a code was used which the consultant of Pathcare accounts department would not assist me with. I left the matter and now I'm getting regular notifications from Pathcare about this bill which I couldn't get assistance for, like what it was for, who was the doctor, etc… yet I AM THE PATIENT!
I have a few specialists which are with and are covered by Discovery and each of them has a basket of care, but as per the consultant on Tuesday my doctors and the bloods they need to request come from one list, one basket, yet they each have their own. How is that possible?!?!
Not all renal patients are diabetics, and not all diabetics are in renal failure, and to add to matters, Type-1 diabetes and Type-2 are completely different requiring different blood test, SO WHY ARE THEY UNDER THE SAME THING?!
So, the person or persons who make these decisions, are they really doctors in the medical sense, do they know what the **** goes on when you're stuck with a “chronic disease” that you did not ask for, and when all your finances just go into medical, DO THEY?!?!?!?
Reference number for the call: ***
I recieved the email that was sent, thanks for the info, which has been repeated on numerous occasions, but clearly you did not take the time to read and understand what was being asked.
You and your colleagues didn't bother to contact myself nor my husband.
How hard can it be to answer a question or two, it's not like I'm asking where do babies come from?
