Bleed to death or pay R7950

I am currently in hospital having undergone a DNC, Hysteroscopy and a polypectomy. Imagine my shock when booking my bed that all had been authorized BUT for this procedure(a day procedure) I must pay in R7950 for the hospital. This after my husband pays R12500 each month for a family of 5. I asked the poor sweet girl that if I dont have such cash lying around must i then bleed to death, because in essence that is exactly what Discovery is saying. Only if one has Cancer will they waive the cost. Wow!! Please Discovery DONT send me a computer generated reply here, I am not a robot. I am human and I bleed!
