Blatantly no way that they want to help me

I have really large breast, to be precise a 34 G/H bra size. I cant remember a day where I didnt have back and neck pain (some days are really extreme). It really affects my well being. And I am scared that it will affect my health in the future.

But no. I have been with discovery for more that 3 years now. I have contacted them if they can assist with my breast reduction on the scheme which I am on, or if nit on this scheme, advise me on which scheme I should be on.

However they contacted me back with just a short and painful answer of no. Discovery does not cover breast reduction.

In fact big breast can lead to back and neck problems and operations in the future.

Where must I get R50-70 000 to pay for the procedure myself??? But I pay Discovery every month almost R2000.

I can't believe that they can't help me. As it is a medical issue, not a cosmetic issue.

Please know this, that if I do find a medical aid that will help me....I will with immediate effect leave Discovery.
