Blackslisted...all thanks to Discovery Key Care Plus Plan Medical Aid

Discovery Key Care Plus Plan Medical Aid has made my life harder than it already is, financially. One of the members of my medical aid was admitted to hospital after having sharp pains on his right leg as well as experiencing some swelling. While at the hospital, this medical aid took about two days to authorize his admission. While at the hospital, the member's blood pressure increased and he was given medication, due to that, the medical aid said they will not pay for his admission because he has been to hospital for high blood pressure in the previous years. They phoned and informed me four days later that they can't pay for his admission and now i am left with a bill of R20 000 at that hospital, which is five times more than my basic salary. Never again will i make the mistake of getting involved with Discovery. I advise the public to think again before considering taking the Discovery Key Care Plus Plan Medical Aid, it is nothing but a joke that will leave u bankrupt!
