Bid and mighty Discovery not too worried about one client

So disappointed. I am allowed 1 dental visit per year. In January I visited the dentist for a follow up appointment from December. I literary went in and walked out. The dentist submitted a claim, but because the claim was below the co payment amount Discovery did not pay it, i paid it. out of my own pocket. Discovery is now saying that because the claim was lodged, that counts as my one visit for the year and I cannot go again till next year. So, from my perspective, I visited the dentist and paid the bill out of my own pocket. They paid nothing, nor have they paid anything else during the year. Lucky them, they paid 0 and marked it as my allocated visit. I do understand why it shows as allocated, but ultimately I paid for that visit, and bottom line is Discovery has not spent a cent on me. Semantics. I hardly use my medical aid and asked if someone can override this and assist? I've been a member for years, surely someone can assist here, but nope, sorry, we are too big and mightily to help you poor little client!! You'll have to wait for next year. Nope, ill be finding another medical aid, again, i'm sure that wont bug you one bit, but ill feel better.
