BEWARE - DISCOVERY HEALTH NOTHING MORE BUTH A GLORIFIED LOYALTY SCHEME

I transferred my adult son onto his own medical aid with his new baby even though I continued to pay his premium (he cannot afford it on his entry level machine operator salary). This year, I wanted to transfer him back onto my medical aid as adult dependent. Nothing changes, except that I am able to claim the contribution from my tax. Discovery requested that his medical aid first be canceled. After weeks of battling to get feedback that the transfer was concluded, it was now declined. Based on the fact that he should be able to afford the over R4000 premium with his R7000 salary per month!!!!!
