Best advice- leave your baby without cover for a month cause of them messing up! Horrified!

So apply to add my daughter to my medical aid starting form the 1st of May 2018. On the 17th of May I get a response saying she's been added from the 01st of May. I call in to get them to change the start date as they took their own merry time adding her to my medical aid to the 17th and the best. The best advice all consultants - cause I don't believe that any of the 4 people I spoke to can be on a management level is that I just leave my baby without cover until June cause they are in no way willing to pro-rate my premium based on their neglect of communication / sense of urgency/ knowledge. They also expect me to suddenly pull out double premiums two months in a row because of them not doing their work. Work company to be insured with ever!
