Beating around the bush

It feels that I have been neglected btbthe medical aid bt going back and forth and i cannot get a definite answer.

I had a below knee amputation on 2 Sept 2020. I was admitted for rehab afterwards and then a wheel chair was app**** for and eversince i have been struggling to get answer from the medical aid. I have been on crutches since the 2nd of sept having several falls in between and I had to go for treatment at a chiropractor because my hip is starting to give me issues. This issue is not getting better and I am afraid my hip will start giving problems.

I have been for a evaluation at the orthotist and they have submitted a report to Discovery for evaluation in order to make a decision on the prosthetic leg.

Every few days im following up on the progress and every time I get the repsonse that the issues has been escalated and when I ask whatbthe progress is I am informed the matter was escalated but the PMB dept doesnt have a telephone number and only emails.

This is really frustrating for me and i feel that I am not treated fairly as it feels that I have a serious disability which need to be addressed and my hip is giving problems on the side that needs to carry all the weight due to the fact that i need go everywhere with my crutches instead making it easier for me as a disabled person and assisting me.

I am even tryimg to minimize costs to see the chiropractor on my own expense not to have another operation on my back fornthe slipped disc that the medical aid is aware of.

Can someone please provide me with an answer or outcome because instead of making progress im going backwards.
