Bad start!

Recently moved to Discovery from another medical aid. Unfortunately my first experience has been really bad. Firstly, I was never told that I had to nominate a GP. Secondly, out of 5 medications prescribed by my doctor 4 was summarily rejected by Discovery. I had to learn from the pharmacist that there is a so called list of allowable medicines and that Discovery won't pay for anything that's not on the list. One would have thought that instead of all the sales talk and promoting all their other products that Discovery would at least alert new members to this BEFORE the sign up and then when they do, provide them with such a list.

This experience left a bad taste in my mouth. Not sure if I want to remain a member of such a medical aid scheme.
