Bad service

In April this year my husband went to a dentist because he has a huge problem with his teeth. He suggested implants and said because it is not cosmetic the medical aid should pay. I said I will ask for authorization. The dentist said his ladies work with medical aids every day they will do it. Then they phoned and said it was authorized and the whole process began, and the accounts where coming. When I phoned the medical aid they said they are not paying as it was not done in a hospital. We would never have done it if we knew we had to pay that amount of money. Then yesterday I spoke to a friend. Told her the story and she said she also had a problem. They were at discovery, she took her child to hospital for dental procedures and guess what???? She was told they dont pay for dental procedures done in a hospital. She the resigned from discovery. So what is the correct story then? They only pay what ever they want to. Disappointed and not for the first time. They are LOOKING for reasons not to pay. But your montly contribution is welcome.
