Bad Service, Bad benefits, Bad medical aid

Over the past 2 years I have spent over R350 000 on medical expenses, excluding what I pay to Discovery. I pay nearly R3000/month but only get about R8000 in savings per year which I need to use for specialists, doctors, medication etc. The savings is depleted withing the first two weeks of the year. Now I have decided to ask Discovery to pay for a procedure, which seems to be the final answer to all my medical problems. Emailed them the Quote on the 6th of September, they haven't even had the decency to reply. Are all medical aids this bad or only discovery? Any recommendations on a better medical aid will be welcome.
