Bad Service and Incosederation

In June a day before my Dr App I received an sms from my treating Dr that I need to start paying Cash(which is a significant amount especially when it just came as a surprise) for my consultations as the medical Aid is No Longer Paying him for consultations. I tried to follow-up with the medical aid on what the issue was and 4 Consultants later and hours on the phone (All of which there is reference too) I still did not have an answer as to why they were not paying my Dr as there is Funds in my Medical Savings account, all they kept saying was that they were paying and I should get the Dr to call them. I was informed that Discovery is No longer wanting to pay for consultations for Specialist Physicians and they now want us to consult Normal \GP's"who must then give us permission to go to the physician and they now will only be paying for 2 Specialist Physician consultations a year.Discovery not only neglected to share this information with me but none of their agents was willing to share this information with me and they sent me form pillar to post when I tried to find out the information. This rule is not only ridiculous but it is also playing with people's lives and health."""
