Bad rates, payout and Service

I find it ridiculous that I have been struggling since October 2015 (4 months) to just get Discovery to send me in writing exactly what they will pay out for the birth of my baby. I have gotten rates over the phone, but this does not help me to go further to see what GAP cover will pay. <br> <br> From what I understood, Discovery pays for a Midwife and that their payout was good for birth cover, however now only do I see that they only pay a third of the birth, meaning I still need to pay in nearly R 8000 for the birth. Why do I even have medical aid for birth if they cover so little? I would have though that they would give preference to woman who choose a home birth with a Midwife, since it is more than half the cost of a normal hospital birth, and nearly 4 times less than a Cesarean. From what I have heard now, other Medical aids gives preference for home births with midwives and pays the entire birth, no questions asked. I am really disappointed in Discovery.
