BAD LYING DISCOVERY CONSULTANT ON GAP COVER

I am disgusted with discovery I spend nearly R11000 per month and this is the service I get . I feel I have been ****** . last year I had to go in to hospital for a nose procedure . and i had to pay in R8500 ad a deductible on my medical aid. i had to pay the hospital off. so i asked the hospital how could i have avoided this they then told me that i should take out gap cover to avoid having this happen again . i then gave discovery a call and the confirmed it that if i have gap cover i wont have to have any co-payments or deductibles. so i got gap cover.

This year my son had to go in for same procedure and i had to pay upfront R8500 for the deductible then the hospital said they do not work with the claims i must claim it back from gap cover . so i did that . they sent me an email stating that they cannot pay the claim for it is not part of my policy . I am disgusted and i told them they **** to me . they then said they went back on the voice recording and they did not find any problems with the consultants conversation and that they will send me the voice recording . I'm still waiting and why would I take out gap cover if they would not cover these type of procedures .

and i will go to the medical board to report this matter .
