Bad credit report not fair

Oct 2014 I was retrenched and therefore could not afford to keep my medical aid and so I cancelled it.<br> I had already used up all my savings for the year and so I had to pay back Discovery an amount of X. On 11 Dec 2014 I got a call from Discovery and I told them that I had been retrenched and could not pay back the monies until I was in a better financial position. <br> I went onto the net today to get a credit report and see that I have a default on my credit report from Discovery. I called them and asked why there was a default on my credit report. And they said that I never got back to them about paying them back the monies. I referred back to the conversation we had in Dec 2014 and said that when I was able to pay back the monies, I would call them and pay them back. I a still not able to pay the monies back to them as yet. I have just gotten back on my feet as the retrenchment took a huge knock on me. I feel it is unfair that they put a default against my name. I am actually disgusted in them and feel that they have no heart.
