Awful medical aid provider
Just an awful provider who will do anything possible to cover as little as possible. I am forced to be a member through the umbrella coverage through a group of companies and wish I could leave. Very unhappy with their constant excuses and passing the buck for their ineptitude. They are there to make money, not look after your health. I had a dog bite and their useless system picked up 4 casualty visits even though the consulting doctor filled in a form proving one casualty visit. I had to return 3 more times for simple rabies injections and they wouldn’t cover these in full as they claim I visited casualty 3 more times.. where was I supposed to visit?Radiology?The kitchen?They then refused to cover my claim in full because they don’t have correct communication methods or codes. Avoid, they are a ***** bunch who will fight to the bone not to cover your claims correctly.

In typical Discovery fashion, a single phone call is made, not followed up on and is swept under the carpet with a nicely worded but ultimately useless and pointless letter. One phone call that I was unable to take as I was in a meeting but no idea who to speak to.
I really don’t have the time for this running around trying to get something that will never get sorted out fixed.
Just pretty words with absolutely nothing getting done as per usual.
