Authorize procedure and then not pay
I was sent for a MRI scan by my specialist. I phoned Discovery and they confirmed that they will pay for the procedure and gave me an authorization number. Not mentioning that they will only pay a portiion of that. I ended up with an unpaid amount that I am liable for of R8816.... How can they give an authorization number if they are not going to settle the account.... That is one of SO many unpleasant surprises i got from Discovery,
