AUTHORIZATION ISSUE

My GP sent through a referral for me to get AUTH from medical aid to see a gynae. However when I phoned in the morning to see what happened with the process and how far it is they said that is has not yet been approved and that I have not been on the scheme / plane for 1 full year.

I was on Discovery Quantum and then they joined with Discovery how does that determine my length of membership and if I should be able to get AUTH to see a gynae.

I want and need my AUTH asap as I am on leave next week and don't have other time besides next week to see him.

Please sort the out ASAP
