Authorised for 3 days but only paying for 1

I was admitted to the Morningside Mediclinic hospital via casualty on Monday 22 April. I went into casualty for a severe abdominal pain and headache. I was first authorised for the headache only. My treating doctor then added the abdominal pain onto my authorization which was then approved for three days. Discovery is now saying that they will only pay for 1.5 days as per the headache protocol. They paid for the general surgeon and the scans taken of my abdomen but are refusing to pay for the full hospital stay. I have all the paperwork stating that my authorization was for 3 days. This is ridiculous and has taken more than a month and is still not sorted. My next step is the ombudsman.
