authorisation for specialist
First time I submitted authorisation form, I was informed that it was not complete, I managed to get a second form from the doctor I was still told that it's still incomplete. I personally called just to found out what's required. I was told that when I get the icd code and specialist number I will be assisted, yesterday I got those things today I'm told that it's incomplete with different things. Why was not told everything in a first place. When I call today I was told that they won't be able to assist again I must understand. I'm feed up.

Thank you for your comment.
The intent of the Specialist Benefit on your chosen plan type is to assist members when they need to visit a specialist out-of-hospital, for a pre- or post-operative hospital visit. The General Practitioner (GP) must request a specialist referral approval prior to the visit and provide us with all the relevant clinical information. I confirmed that this information was not received and we have since been in contact with the doctor. I emailed you the details of your request and you are welcome to contact me directly should you have any concerns.
Kind regards
