Appalling Service

I underwent a localised wire assisted biopsy (surgery) on 28 March 2023. Discovery authorised this surgery and I was booked in to hospital for the surgery. While in hospital (after being booked in) the localisation of the insertion of the wire was done by the radiology dept. in hospital in preparation for the surgery. A month after surgery I discovered that Discovery had not paid the radiology dept. I started making calls to Discovery on 2 May 2023 and have spoken to agent after agent, received different reference numbers and promises to be called back and I have been making calls to them weekly since. I was continuously advised by these agents that my query was with case managers and the 'block' on this payment would be lifted. The last reference number I received was *** when I called last week on 26 May 2023. I was told my this agent that the query had been lodged with the incorrect department and that she would forward to the correct department but meanwhile no feedback had been received. This morning I received another email from the hospital radiology department for payment. I don't have that amount of money tp pay cash when everything should have been paid by discovery. I am tired of calling discovery, I am tired of having to stress about this payment especially since my monthly instalments on the medical aid after 20 years is more than enough to cover this radiology account. It was an hospital procedure!! I more than expect just a standard generic response to this review from discovery, as this is their SOP's but people need to know how they operate.
