ANOTHER WAY DISCOVERY HEALTH WILL RIP YOU OFF!

I became a member of Discovery Health 2005 listed as a dependent on my daughters father's medical aid cover. He was diagnosed with irreversible brain damage in December and his son took over his administrative affairs - first step being to terminate my membership and my daughters membership. I swiftly placed my pregnant daughter under cover on Classic Comprehensive and her maternity benefit continued. However, Discovery and its underwriters insisted on charging me a "LATE JOINER FEE". I have been on the scheme for 14 years! Just another way Discovery rips you off! It was simply a matter of a change of bank account! Be careful of these hijackers.
