ANNOUNCING THAT DISCOVERY VALUES MONEY MORE THAN PEOPLE!!!

Brutal honesty is the best policy.. Im currently foster caring for my 13 teen year old baby sister. At this moment we're on our own and been this way for nearly 7years....Single parenting is not for the faint hearted that's for sure, let me fill you in on my experience with this awful company.. I've been on and off with Discovery due to the financial strains I've experienced throughout my life's journey but still stuck just to this medical aid. I remembered there was a time I never used my medical aid.. Just kept paying it, then it dawned on me why should I keep paying for it and not make use of it, I mean medical aid should serve its purpose. It's meant to benefit you and whomever you're covering in times of health needs, else you're just donating your money for a lost cause. My sister had been battling with schoolwork for quite a while and her school counselor suggested she see a psychologist as it could be a result of something psychological. Once I found a suited professional, she sent through an application to Discovery to cover the sessions my sister needed. I received a call from a lady called Charlotte Gxowa who withdrew my policy due to non-disclosure.. I kept thinking on what grounds could she possibly label this non-disclosure. I've never taken my sister to a psychologist for a diagnosis. Charlotte's judgement has been inaccurate and the lack of compassion she showed me was disappointing to say the least. Quite frankly I feel discovery just didn't wanna pay these sessions. I had to report this to someone else at Discovery but the strange thing is, when I made all these attempts nothing was seen through by anyone I spoke with . I even went back to emailing Charlotte, called her frequently and nobody's come back to me.. It's quite shocking, you would expect better from such a huge company. At face value it seems like this company discriminates against orphans going through a difficult time and seeking professional medical assistance. I will be exploring legal routes. Sad to learn that a company like Discovery values money more than people.. I'm utterly disgusted with their service and communication s****s but most of all I'm disheartened that they turned away an opportunity to be of service and help my baby sister to grow emotionally and repair any psychological issues she's experienced...
