Anesthesia outstanding fees...after an operation done!!!

I was admitted for a laparoscopy operation on the 15 March 2023. Pre- auth from Discovery was received days before. Today I received a call from the Anaesthetist office informing me that I have an outstanding balance of R8,961 that Discovery did not pay. So of the R13 441 bill, Discovery only paid R4,480.

How on earth does one gets to be admitted specifically for an operation and then Discovery decides NOT to pay for anesthesia!!!!! this is just beyond me!!
