Amount paid/not paid

I got a statement from Discovery that an acount has been paid in full with no outstanding amount. the hospital says that I owe them money which Discovery has not paid. Someone is not telling the truth but who?

To this date, Discovery has only acknowledged that they provided an incorrect statement and they have not corrected it. So, I am out of pocket because I cant claim from my GAP cover.
