All about the money

Discovery Health is only in Business for making money as they definitely don't care about any of their clients. Aslong as you keep your mouth shut, pay your premiums and not ask Discovery for any assistance then all will be fine.

But as soon as you start asking for assistance with medication ect. you get the run around or simply just a sorry we're not going to help you at all.

Discoveries Chronic Department has been a disaster to try and deal with, not interested in actually trying to help a patient or even reading the doctors referrals. Discovery would rather pay for a more expensive drug than the one the doctor prescribed, and it's all because they are getting a kick back. Discovery would also rather put me on medication that is dangerous and can cause severe side effects than to pay one cent for the medication the doctor has prescribed, why because they are clearly getting a kick back from these drug companies. Discovery has even refused to read the article as reference the doctor has sent through as proof that these medications are dangerous. Not only are the medications dangerous and can cause serious issues with my health the medication can also only be administered in hospital, meaning discovery gets even more money and by using this form of medication I can potentially lose my job and then what I will stop paying discovery anyway. Even after the Doctor has sent through all my lab results and numerous motivations Discovery is still refusing to pay for my medication, I honestly think the letters and lab results just get ignored anyway.

I've never had issues with Discovery until now, Discovery should be ashamed of themselves for being so money hungry and greedy. Their services and care for customers is an absolute disgrace, I honestly don't know if I will be using Discovery any longer. And would definitely not recommend them to anyone, trust me I will let anyone that ask know to stay very far away from them at all cost.
