Advising Clients Incorrectly

10/12/2015 - Contacted by Discovery to fill out Income Verification Forms for my Plan in order to not be placed on the Highest Income Band. As I am a Full Time student, I stated R0.00 for all fields. Despite submitting these Forms, I was still taken off the Student Band (R360) and placed on a Higher Band (R832).<br> Submitted an Affidavit of Monthly Income, protesting this. It was refused due to a lack of Rand Value (I am fully supported by my Mom and do not earn a cent to my name). Contacted Consultant Nelly. Advised to redo Affidavit and state my allowance of R1000 p/m strictly for Transport Fees, as they want to see a Rand Value. Obliged and submitted the updated Affidavit.<br> <br> Called by Discovery to say that because I stated I receive R1000.00 per month for my Transport to and from and Campus, they have to charge me the R832 and cannot put me back on the Student Income Band, yet I was informed, by them, to state that rand value on my Affidavit. <br> <br> The allowance I receive is not a salary. I cannot afford these charges and due to this unresolved issue, I have no choice but to withdraw my Membership from this Company.
