ABSA & Discovery Health Playing Ping Pong

<p>I was not aware that Discovery Health depsited money into my closed ABSA accountin 2014 April. I went to discovery to find out, they then mentioned that the money was diposited to ABSA account number. It was refund for Medical Aid savings. Discovery provided me with a confimation letter that money was deposited into the account but they have not received reversal or anything from ABSA. I then went to Absa branch, spoke to a consultant in Sandton. The consultant promised to request a statement for that specified period of time but ABSA mentioned that they are not able to retrieve a statement for that period and did not provide the reason why.</p> <p> </p> <p>I have received several inconsistent e-mails from ABSA, from a consultant by the name of Tholwane Sibuyane. ABSA is unable to provide a statement proving they di dnot receive the money. As per e-mail from ABSA, they are referrring me back to Discovery Health while Discovery tells me there is nothing they can do until ABSA produces a statement showing they did not receive funds into that account. Both these "giant institutions" are failing to account as to what happended to the money. I find this very disturbing that such huge institutions are willing to fail to account and tell exactly what happened to the money. Maybe i might not be the first victim but, i need help here. The last time i went to ABSA branch, i spoke to a guy by the name of Nathan Reddy, until to date, there is nothing coming forth from ABSA. E-mails from this Tholwane Sibyuane from ABSA, are absolutely not helping as it is clear he is either ignoring the facts i am raising or he does not understand the nature of the query. I even tried to ask for assistance from Legawise as i am a platinum member, but they have also failed me. All they did was to send me a note stating file has been sent to Soweto Branch with a file number.</p>
