6900.00 PLUS - MONEY TAKENBY DISCOVERY WITHOUT AUTHORISATION OR NOTIFICATION

Discovery will not refund my 6900.00 that I had to paid in January as a co-payment at the Glynwood for a scope. Submitted and have not heard emails up and down, phone calls nothing. Today I was advised that they are keeping my money for debt that I owe Discovery. In 2020 I had a bone marrow biopsy which was booked by Benoni Oncology and aurthorised by Discovery - No copayment due as it came from oncology. I then received an account from discovery for 10775.00 that I have to pay. My oncologist advised that no payment was to be made as medical aid paid from Oncology Benefit. The hospital and doctors had to sort out the accounts. Have not received any further emails or mails with regards to this account. 2 years later this matter was not resolved or rectified and Discovery has not refunded any accounts for January paid out 10,000.00 and Discovery kept it all. I was advised by my broker to take out GAP cover and you can not claim for 1 years even if you have been a member for 25 years on classic comprehensive. Discovery is not looking after the interests of there members anymore there interests are elsewhere.
