6 yr old Cerebral Palsy patient do not get an authority code from Discovery Health for operation

My daughter and her family went on Discovery Health Medical on 1 August 2019. They moved to Discovery Classic Delta saver from a Discovery Classic Comprehensive. Classic Comprehensive paid for her wheelchair and walker, knowing that she has Cerebral Palsy. She has to get an operation tomorrow at her feet, to lengthen the ac-illus. When wanting to obtain an authority code for this small operation, the operator told me that the case must first be handed over to forensic department. Why? We feel like *********. Discovery knows the patient's details, as she had been with Discovery before (as explained above). Now they are saying that if she had the condition before, she might be put under a waiting period or be taken off the medical aid all together. Why want to find out from the professor tomorrow if she had the condition before, Discovery knows that. (they gave her a wheelchair)

Discovery Health is definitely NOT the best medical aid fund. They are of the MOST expensive yes!

The Cerebral Palsy patient must be admitted to hospital tomorrow at 12h00.

We are most definitely going to run out of time to obtain a auth code!

Oh really! This is a "normal & standard" reply. All the company's reply with this standard message, but nothing gets done anyway. We need to book my granddaughter in at 12h00
and you know this. Let's see if you will really help. You are looking for reasons to turn down the claim. Remember, our other insurances are also with Discovery and we are looking into this now.
In the meantime, we are waiting for your reply.....and 12h00 is around the corner....

You have my cell nr and I have had no feedback from you other than your standard reply on this system.
My 6 yr old granddaughter is crying her heart out, as she would have received an operation today, which could possibly make her "walk" for the first time in her life.....

We have spent the day at the hospital, waiting for the Auth code from Discovery. We had to leave the hospital at 5 pm without the Auth code. Discovery's reason for rejecting the procedure was that we did not reveal the patient's Cerebral Palsy status and that we were dishonest by not revealing this. Discovery know the patient has cerebral palsy, as they have paid out a wheelchair and walking ring previously and they have ALL her history on the system. It was just another way to "catch" the customer out on a "technicality" and save some money - to the detriment of a 6 year old Cerebral Palsy sufferer. Shame on you Discovery!!! It's a DISGRACE for a big company like Discovery Health to act soooo without any empathy!!!
I took two videos of my grand daughter, the first one where she was praying in her wheelchair to our Lord, that Discovery will approve her procedure. The second video (after the whole day without food and drinks, started falling apart), where she was crying in her wheelchair, saying that she "can't go to the operation, because they don't want to help her". This was heartbreaking to us seeing her like this.
I am deciding at the moment whether I have to go "viral" tomorrow with the two videos on social media and Carte Blanche or not. I am a pensioner and have nothing to loose. She is my granddaughter against a giant Company, wanting to save money.
I asked Discovery to send me a cell nr to which I can send the videos - giving them the opportunity to see it first - to which they did not respond.
The world is full of money making institutes, caring nothing about their clients / patients!
What a shame!
