6 weeks check up taken from MSA instead of Maternity Benefit

I delivered on the 6 of June which was on a Saturday 6 week also fell on a Saturday, next working day the 19th of July thats when I was scheduled for an appointment with my gynaecologist, Discovery took out that payment from my medical savings, account saying I was 6 weeks and 2 days on the day while 6 weeks fell on a weekend, this compromised the babies pediatrician check up which again I had to cover from my pocket. I'm now stranded with no funds, and a baby with Terrible skin condition.
