Good day

It pains me greatly to complain about the service I am receiving from Tabile Yako. I have tried to contact Rishana Singh on several occasions and have been unsuccessful. There has been an increase on my son's medical aid from R 515.00 to R 949 which is a huge jump for me as a single parent. My son is currently doing his trade service training and is going back to study on the 23rd November 2015 which leaves him as a non income earner. I have sent an email explaining this to discovery health but Tabile Yako has blatantly told me that the change has been done and I am now responsible for the payment. I have not agreed to any increase in payments and neither have I been contacted regarding this. Discovery Health has become a money game and no longer has the consumers interest at heart. If they cannot change the amount back to R 515, then they must refund me the amount we paid for Virgin active and cancel the medical aid. as this is ludicrous. To get hold of people at discovery is an effect!!!
Thank you for your comment.
I looked into your query and confirmed that the income category we placed in for 2016 is correct based on the supporting documents we received. Income is defined in the Rules of the Discovery Health Medical Scheme. I have emailed you more details around this.
You are welcome to contact us should you require any further assistance.
