3 month waiting period when moving from a closed plan to open plan within Discovery.

<p>Hi,</p> <p> </p> <p>I have recently moved off my wife's medical aid (with Discovery) onto my own (with Discovery). </p> <p> </p> <p>I have been told that I have a 3 month waiting period enforced?! This makes no sense to me as I have been with Discovery all my life without any break in cover.</p> <p> </p> <p>Yes I am diabetic but that has never been an issue and I've never had a waiting period enforced before.</p> <p>Do you have any idea how ridiculous this sounds?</p> <p> </p> <p>I am looking at other medical aids but I'd like to get this ridiculous issue resolved quickly so that I can continue my cover with Discovery. </p> <p> </p> <p> </p>
