3 month waiting period

Dear Discovery Health, please shove your medical aid where the sun doesn't shine! I have app**** for Key Care Plus 2 weeks ago. Today, after I had to enquire about the status of my application, I was told that there would be a 3 month waiting period. Apparently a stomach bug is considered a pre existing condition!?!? I had a bacteria in my stomach last year and the doctor ordered a gastroscopy to confirm it. I was treated with antibiotics and that was the end of it. Now you want to penalise me with a 3 month waiting period because of that?!?! Please keep in mind that I have never NOT been on a medical aid. In fact, I was on Discovery for many years. <br> Thank you for not assisting me.
