2014 claim for braces

my frustration is regarding a 2014 claim by the ophthalmologist that was partly paid last year and the remainder of the money deducted as instalments from my medical aid savings.<br> i don't understand why the ophthalmologist was partially paid last year as i had more that=n sufficient funds for dental. last year before agreeing to the braces, I phoned the medical aid more than once to ask how much was left for Dental as the dental surgeon referred me to ophthalmologist and I was told i had around R35 000. Even before going for the braces as I also wanted to find out from discovery what they cover and they told me on my medical option the full amount of braces will be covered. So I went for the procedure without any worries as nobody told me Discovery pays in monthly instalments. I cannot make arrangements with them to claim remainder of the money owed for the braces because I currently I have a self payment gap of R1840 and can't afford to pay it now in full now. This payment gap is caused by the claims of the ophthalmologist and the claims will keep coming extending my self payment gap further.I really feel let down and don't know what to do to resolve such a matter.
