Discovery Global Education Protector

I contacted Discovery today, wanting to cancel the Global Education Protector plan which I have been paying since 2010. Now because of unforeseen financial difficulty and COVID which lead to my wife losing her job, we are not able to continue with making payments and need to cancel the plan. The only response was sorry you will be forfeiting all monies paid to date and that is it. I am now losing close to R30000, they could have just reimbursed me with maybe 15% and I would have been happy, but no I just got told you do not get one cent back, finished en klaar.
