Cheap and unsafe bed sets

Bought an orthopedic bed only to find out the base breaks it feels like it's made of cardboard. Had to cancel to 2 of my lay bye beds. When I asked the manager he said it's how they are made. If that's the case then customers are to be made aware before they purchase. Right now my mother sleeps on a very unsafe bed and we have to try n buy a proper base set somewhere else.
