Disgruntled - Losses as a result of incorrect Tax submission as well as arrogance
Scrutinise the information, being submitted on your behalf, I realised that this person made several mistakes on my Tax which has resulted in an average loss of approximately R3000.00 per annum, going back three years. When I queried him, he was upset that I had access to my access SARS (Tax) profile and that I could view the information which he submitted. When I enquired about the figures, he has submitted this was his response: My e-mails to him Issue #1) The Travel and Related Cost does not seem to be correct, although the number of school days was less, it cannot create such a huge variance, please double check. Issue #2)The fact that an incorrect school was used for 2017, resulted in me a loss to me of approximately R3000.00. Note that this also affected in pre-2017. How are you going to correct this?
@Jacobus Kruger responses: Issue #1) I cannot quantify and clarify everything thing that I do, every submission, especially around the travel as it is a huge task to compile. Issue #2) We cannot go back and correct 2017. If you want to be compensated for that, than I will gladly do so, i.e. R3000, will pass a credit for 2018 which will be the same. BUT, then you need to request back your profile from myself after I had made payment to you. This is the type of person who does not own up to his mistakes, expects others to accept and be happy with what he has submitted even though it not correct. In short, double-check what’s being submitted, request from him to take you through his submission before he submits your Tax. If you had a similar experience, or know someone making use of his services, please make them aware…
