Dis-Chem manager Xolisani Nkosi the worst, she should go back to customer service training 😠😠

I am extremely disappointed and disturbed by the treatment I received at Dis-Chem, Jabulani Mall today. I went into the store to purchase a product that was clearly marked at R50,30 on the shelf. When I reached the till, I was informed that the price was different. Instead of simply correcting what appeared to be a pricing error, I was made to wait for approximately 45 minutes while different managers were brought to speak to me. What was particularly concerning and humiliating was being told by the last manager Xolisani Nkosi that she had been watching me on the CCTV cameras and had noticed that I was on my phone, and I was then accused of having changed the price of the product. I found this accusation completely unacceptable and felt that I was being unfairly singled out and racially profiled. I was a paying customer who had every right to question the price displayed on the shelf. Rather than taking responsibility for the pricing discrepancy and resolving the matter professionally, the situation was escalated into an accusation against me. I would like Dis-Chem to investigate this incident, including the conduct of the staff and managers involved, and provide me with a proper explanation and response. Customers should not be made to feel humiliated, ********ised or discriminated against when raising a legitimate pricing concern.
