Telecom Directories company pretending to be Telkom This company called the company where I work in the office, and in a very rushed they asked if I could spare a few moments for updating our details with them. I heard the lady say they were from Telkom ( whom we use ), but in fact they were "telecom". They use the email address that is ********** and the form they send looks like a telkom form, as I have done updating of details for them before. The fine print agreement which I unfortunately did not read as I was in a rush and is also printed so small on this form states that the company is liable to pay for the service which you don't get anything for. This you will only find out after a month when they send the Invoice through, and then you realise that there is something terribly wrong with this picture. (By then the 7 day stated period in which to cancel is already over). The debt collecters have already called and we were informed that we owe this amount or we will be taken to court or Black listed (Personally & the company). What must we do and should we ignore this, as stated in another review for this company? Telkom has also advised to ignore. Please do not fall for this company - as they repeatedly call and harass employees to complete a form and send it back, which is absolutely not legal for an employee to fill in and sign, but as they have worded the fine print so carefully, any employee can sign on behalf of the company, and by then you are in great trouble, like myself. Any advise please?
