Unsuccessfull for loan?

I app**** for a consolidate personal loan yesterday. The first person that phoned me helped me very nice, and I asked her to phone me back after 6:30 to give her information that was at my home. She told me someone else would phone me. They did phone me back telling me that I have been pre aproved for my application of R50 000 and if I want the R50 000. I told them I only need R26 000 to consolidate my accounts to make one payment every month. After a hour they give a missed call and with a SMS that my application were unsuccessfull. Was it for the R50 000 or the R26 000, because I have done my homework and see that I would be able to affort it be**** I did apply.
